About Jeff Paul

Healthcare IT Integration, EMR Transformation & M&A Technology Consulting

Founder & Principal, JP Healthcare IT Advisors Fayetteville, Arkansas LinkedIn

I help healthcare organizations bring structure, speed, and accountability to complex technology change. Over the past 15+ years I've led healthcare IT integrations, EMR/EHR delivery, revenue-cycle transformation, operating-model design, and go-live recovery across provider organizations, enterprise portfolios, and multi-site environments.

My background spans Oracle Health (Cerner), R1 RCM, S&P Consultants, and Mosaic Health, where I built and led integration functions, directed large-scale implementations, and helped organizations move from fragmented execution to repeatable, governed delivery.

I'm especially effective in high-stakes environments — where initiatives are slipping, acquisitions need structure, or leaders need a clear path from diligence to Day-1 readiness. I work hands-on with the technology, which is what lets me promise a date and mean it.

Where I go deep

Cerner / Oracle Health legacy (PharmNet, SurgiNet, CCL)EHR implementations & multi-site go-livesRevenue cycle & billing-compliance riskLarge-scale system migrations & cutoversM&A IT diligence & integration governanceTarget-state platforms — athenahealth, Phreesia, Navina

The method I own — Gate-to-Go-Live

Every site clears six gates to a go-live you can put on a calendar. A practice or system enters with no structure and descends a controlled path to a stabilized handoff.

G0
No-Surprises

Discovery — what's real and where the exposure lives: contracts, compliance, data, infrastructure.

G1
Charter

Scope, owners, and the committed date — locked, not assumed.

G2
Mapped

Data, contracts, infrastructure, and compliance, all accounted for.

G3
Built

Configured and migrated against the map — not around it.

G4
Go / No-Go

Cutover criteria met and verified. The date is earned, not hoped for.

G5
Landed

Live, stabilized, and handed off to the people who run it every day.
